Day to day administration of health insurance plan for over 3700 employees worldwide. Acted as liaison between employees and health insurance provider. Created system to reconcile invoices and process check requests for timely and accurate payments. Coordinated first-ever Open Enrollment. Enrolled employees in Pension Plan. Analyzed 401(k) plan annually, then provided results to plan administrator and department head. Created Training Guide for Benefits Department; updated benefits forms. Member of Tuition Reimbursement Committee, responsible for establishing guidelines and rolling out tuition reimbursement plan.
Staff Accountant/benefits Administrator, Responsible for Accounts Receivable including data entry, preparing invoices and processing payments. Processed A/P invoices, authorization approval, g/l coding and input, check processing and filing. Managed 3 bank accounts as including between-account transfers, wire follow ups and bank account reconciliation. Prepared payroll – tracked hours per job per architect, verified hourly rate (regular, overtime, double time, sick time, premiums, etc). Prepared, filed, and disbursed quarterly/annual payroll taxes (941, 940) as well as estimated quarterly taxes for S corp owners/officers. Administered 401k program, track company matches, file 5500 and distribute SAR. Oversaw and managed health care reimbursement account, group medical insurance and dental insurance. Enrolled new hires into all insurances (Life, ADD, LTD, STD, health, dental, HRA).
