Corporate liaison for insurance brokers and vendors. Point of contact for employees regarding all benefits matters. Plan, direct and implement benefit activities and related processes including open enrollment, FSA, medical, dental, vision and life insurance plans. Conduct benefits orientation for newly hired employees. Coordinate all benefits deductions with payroll. Oversees the preparation of reports and benefit statements according to State and Federal compliance requirements; gathers data and prepares annual benefit statements, IRS and other reports for employees, administrative and regulatory requirements. Administer COBRA plan and the 403B retirement plan for 1200 participants.
Benefits Administrator, Assisted with the daily administration of all benefits, as well as special projects in the Human Resources department. Communicated and assisted all new hires with benefits and 401(k) enrollment. Assisted the Benefits Manager with creating and implementing all communication campaigns. Resolved all issues related to the benefits function, including but not limited to health insurance, 401(k), worker’s compensation, leaves of absence, and accounting-related responsibilities. Planned, coordinated and provided on-site support for all travel, activities and meeting planning for the annual Office Coordinator meeting, held at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club and Crown Plaza in 2007 and again in 2008, saving $20, 000 while maintaining the integrity of the conference. Provided general administrative support and record keeping.
